Plastic has become an unavoidable part of modern life, with its prevalence in everything from packaging to machinery, textiles, and fibres. Unfortunately, due to its abundance and the challenges of repairing and recycling plastic products, most people opt to dispose of them.
The problem with plastic is that recycling and reusing it can be challenging, particularly without specialized equipment. However, in response to this issue, I have developed a method to make the use of plastic at home more accessible and inclusive, without the need for expensive tools or machines.
After noticing the accumulation of plastic bottle caps, I conducted research to find a way to repurpose this plastic waste. As a result, I reimagined the concept of 3D printing by creating a homemade 3D Doodler that allows anyone to utilize plastic waste in their own homes.
